Reddit is a large and active online bulletin board. Users can vote up or down post to organize relevance. The content entries are organized areas called Subreddits. You can read anything about anythning!
Reddit started at the University of Virginia by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian in 2005. Conde Nast Publications acquired the site in October 2006. As of August 2012, Reddit operates as an independent entity, although Advance is still its largest shareholder. The site is based in San Fransisco. There are many investors such as Snoop Dogg and Jared Leto worth over 500 million dollars.

-Large community allows for very unique online interactions are posts the voting system also makes the good content easy to find
